The first episode of FCNNNews takes a closer look at white institutions and representation. As part of a residency programme at ARoS Art Museum, the collective FCNN, found themselves surrounded by the white walls of the museum and decided it was time to dismantle the institution. They created their own feminist news programme called FCNNNews with a flashing studio inside the museum.

The episode includes:
“Breaking News” with Hoda Katebi, a “Shade Tour” through ARoS Art Museum with Christian Musíc, “Ghostbusting” with Eliyah Mesayer and Dina El Kaisy Friemuth, the video “Seneb” by Tabita Rezaire and last but not least an alternative weather report by Madison Bycroft.

FCNN episode two is a very special episode, customized for Andromeda 8220 in Gellerupparken. We have invited both local and international artists and activists to participate in a converation about gentrification and resistance. Artist Abdul Dube (ZA / DK) and architect curator and activist Aysha Amin (DK) will present an overview of the so call “Ghettoplan” and present different tools to mobilize against the gentrification process, taking place in their neighbourhood.

The episode includes:
“Breaking News” will appear once again in this episode chatting about fashion and politics.
Laura Na (DK) from the collective Marronage (DK) features as an expert focusing on gentrification on Nørrebro, Copenhagen. And Madison Bycroft (AUS) gives us a new climate and weather forecast. Enjoy!

The third episode is the last episode of FCNNNews – Season One. We have invited some of our favourites to present their projects and initiatives which operate in the intersection of art, culture and activism.
We will focus on how to organize and address real political issues such as the use of sonic weapons against demonstrators in Fannie Sosa’s video work “I Need This in My Life” or the living conditions of queers in the MENA region, told by the anonymous voice of SeenNoon magazine’s hand puppet, LaBeeba.

An interview with Ahmet Ögût about organizing Silent University, Wise words by Silvia Federicci and Bell Hooks a beautiful video by the Union – Cultural workers union for Black and People of colour and much more.
